Did you get up this morning and cook breakfast and then say “Oh no, it’s not Cordon Bleu, i can’t eat it”? No. Did you get in your car, drive down the road and then say “Oh dear, i am not driving as well as Michael Schumacher so i better not drive”? No. Think back to when you learnt to drive, did you take lessons? How many go’s did it take you to pass your driving test? Ok, so some smart ass kids get in a car aged 16 and just drive, but most of us have to learn!
It can't be as bad as this!
A South Korean grandmother failed her driving test 771 times, but she is still going to try again, apparently! Well, with singing, perseverance pays off in the end. OK, some people can just sing naturally, but in fact, we are all natural singers, it’s human nature. We sing and we dance. Until someone tells us not to. As a teacher, i don’t give people something they don’t have, i couldn’t possibly do that, i pull something out of them, that is in them. I bring out the best in people’s singing. If the people i work with didn’t have it it them already, i couldn’t do what i do! In fact it’s very easy to show people how to develop the confidence to sing well. And with the right encouragement the results that can be achieved can be utterly astouding, breathtaking even! Singing is a joyful experience and brings great pleasure, so learn the secrets of good singing now, it’s easy once you know how!
